mother & daughter; exploring Wellington County walking trail

I feel fortunate to live so close to a beautiful and peaceful trail here in Wellington County. Morgan shared with me that she often walks the trail and sits by the river. Its so quiet and hidden away. Landscapes like these are harder to come across today, with how quickly cities are being built. Any remaining green space is often boxed

 

in by urban sprawl.

As we walked along the river, we came across puddles, wild flowers, and towering trees. We heard songbirds and felt the wind blow past us. I loved seeing Morgan and her daughter get right into the puddles and walk barefoot along the trail. Their energy was uplifting <3
